Sustainability
Across the Entire Supply Chain
Supply chain has strategic importance in our profitability, growth and path to realise our vision.
An Endless Initiator ...
Considering that our supply chain extends domestic, we have a significant impact area.
To ensure the continuity in the supply of products and improve our suppliers’ environmental and social performances, we work together to create value for all our stakeholders in our value chain.
We make our purchasing operations sustainable using risk management processes, sustainable supplier indexes, supplier audits, communication events and supplier training.
We have a dynamic purchasing organization structured in line with increasing global needs and our expanding production network.
Iran Home Appliances strives to develop the best strategy and collaboration model in line with its expanding manufacturing lines and vision to position itself as a global brand. In this sense, a category-based purchasing organization was established to make use of scale economy. Category managers specialize in their relevant categories and conduct cost improvement projects as well as projects that create value. The purchasing organization keeps track of many elements which may have an impact on costs including the regulations on environment, fluctuations in commodity prices, local and global economic developments, supplier sustainability risks and customs regulations.
The prices of purchased materials are determined through price analyses and tenders. Both methods are used to set fair prices with the suppliers. The pricing process is based on economic parameters including the workforce, raw material trends, electricity, fuel and inflation.

Supplier Management and Contracts
Signing supplier contracts is the primary condition for cooperation between Iran Home appliances and its suppliers. Suppliers are obliged to fully comply with the terms of the contract. Contracts are also the commitment of long-term cooperation between the two parties. Supplier contracts include business ethics, environmental and quality requirements, as well as commercial matters. After our suppliers are approved, the quality and shipment performances are closely monitored and the performance results are shared with the suppliers through the supplier portal. According to the performance results, audits carried out within the scope of improvement studies are carried out by employees who have received auditor training within Iran Home Appliances. Our suppliers are obliged to query the policy, contract and quality conditions at their suppliers. Iran Home Appliances revises the conditions of its sub-supplier, if necessary, or checks it on site.
Our suppliers are analyzed and classified according to the royal method and play an active role in determining our overall supplier strategy. In the Kraljic methodology, the following criteria are taken into consideration; Supplier annual purchase cost - Supplier performance (Quality, Shipment) - Supplier dependency level - The price level of the supplier according to its alternatives - Technical and innovation expertise of the supplier - Supplier's response and cooperation speed - Supplier ESG Score
In the supplier selection process, all potential suppliers are assessed by a limited survey that covers quality, environment and business ethics aspects. For contract rewarding to the existing significant suppliers, quality, timely delivery and ESG score determined based on the Supplier Sustainability Index are considered. Based on the methodology explained in detail in the Supplier ESG Program, minimum 20% of ESG score is weighted in the final score of the supplier to be selected for contract awarding.
Responsible Purchasing Policy and Implementation Principles
Responsible Purchasing Policy is designed to ensure that suppliers' business practices comply with Iran Home Appliances values and current legal rules, and must be complied with by all suppliers.
Accepting and complying with Iran Home Appliances Responsible Purchasing Policy is a contractual obligation. In case of a serious violation of this Policy in a systematic manner, Iran Home Appliances reserves the right to terminate the contract with its suppliers. Likewise, Iran Home Appliances expects from its suppliers to have and implement "Responsible Purchasing Policy" covering its own suppliers.
The policy is published on the Iran Home Appliances Global website and is sent to suppliers on a regular basis.
Some details in our Responsible Purchasing Policy are as follows: Child labor, Forced labor, Discrimination, Freedom of association, Harassment, Wages, Implementation principles, Raise a concern by phone or online, Environmental regulations and protection

Audits check whether our suppliers comply with Iran Home Appliances’ expectations in areas including compliance with human rights and environmental laws. A comprehensive audit covering ESG topics are aligned with Business Social Compliance Initiative (“BSCI”) and the Suppliers Ethical Data Exchange (“SEDEX”) and Responsible Business Alliance (“RBA”) carried out by third-party independent auditors with relevant certificates. Within the scope, the compliance of our suppliers with Iran Home Appliances Global Responsible Purchasing Policy is assessed, which include Iran Home Appliances’ expectations for legal practices, working conditions, ethical rules, occupational health and safety, and the environment. The following headings are covered during the business ethics audits: Child labour, Discrimination, Forced labour, Environment, Freedom to Form Unions, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Ethics Policy and Management Systems, Fees and Side Benefits, Operating Hours. In case of at least one of the following nonconformities as a result of the audit, cooperation with the supplier is terminated: Child labor, Forced labor, Harassment case, Bribery case, Discrimination. If a supplier has been audited by a third party other than Iran Home Appliances’ own audit process, an up-to date business ethics audit report taken within the last two years from the independent institution is accepted. The format of the report must be approved by Iran Home Appliances. In that case, audit is not planned for the relevant supplier within that year. For results of supplier assessments, please visit Iran Home Appliances Sustainability Reports. For further information about Supplier Business Ethics which are part of Supplier ESG Program, please visit the Program. We require full compliance with Iran Home Appliances Global Responsible Purchasing Policy in these audits. Additionally, Human Rights Due Diligence Process includes the identification, prevention and mitigation actual and potential adverse impacts of salient human rights issues considered relevant for Iran Home Appliances’ operation network in the entire value chain.

Supplier Environmental Conditions
Compliance with the Environmental Management System is required in all our activities from the beginning of the commissioning process of our suppliers. Our Responsible Purchasing Policy, which we have prepared for our suppliers, includes environmental conditions as well as the ethical principles and legal rules of our suppliers. The terms of compliance with the Responsible Purchasing Policy are specified in the contracts we have with all our suppliers. In-house Supplier Sustainability Index has been prepared to closely monitor our suppliers' sustainability activities. This index monitors the performance of our suppliers' Economic, Environmental and Social activities throughout a comprehensive survey, which is the first step of the Supplier Sustainability Index Assessment.
As second part of the Supplier Sustainability Index Assessment, business audits, including but not limited to environmental issues, are carried out to check the compliance including environmental laws and regulations, support the environmental performance of our suppliers and to follow environmental activities closely. We cooperate with suppliers from different sectors to minimize our environmental impact by reducing waste generation and increasing energy efficiency. We have been collecting environmental data including Scope 1–2 GHG emissions, waste, water, energy efficiency, and renewable energy from our direct material and OEM suppliers.
In 2025, we have continued working on building the same infrastructure with our logistics suppliers. We intend to help our suppliers set environmental targets and track progress as part of our journey to becoming a Net-Zero company. For detailed information are available on Sustainability Reports. Our main expectation is that our suppliers comply with the list of Iran Home Appliances banned / restricted substances in order to present environmentally friendly products to the customer. The Iran Home Appliances Chemical Compatibility Specification requirements an important part of our environmental expectations that we expect from our suppliers.
Supplier Quality Standards
Our suppliers should establish, document, implement and continually enhance the efficiency of a quality system which is aimed at performance improvement and reduction of the nonconformities and waste. The suppliers should have quality objectives which could meet the expectations of Iran Home Appliances (P.J.S.) including the requirements of material conformity, which are measurable and could be implemented in a certain timeframe in compliance with the quality policy. The suppliers should have management reviews, which provide continual improvement. These reviews should cover the activity outputs aimed at monitoring the overall performance of the process. All activities should be planned, implemented and controlled in a way minimizing the uncertainties in these activities and in the system as a whole and should realize the required improvements.
The items below are helpful in assessing whether the supplier meets the aforementioned expectations: 1) Results of internal and external inspections. 2) Review records, performance results, and objectives about the critical monitoring indicators of the processes affecting the product quality. 3) Customer quality awards. 4) Customer feedback records (product return rate, customer claims etc.). 5) The certificates of standards obtained for the product (TSE, BEAB, VDE, DIN etc.). 6) Having obtained certificates of management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17025. 7) Having a systematic structure for reporting and management of quality cost (The system should be able to generate periodic reports, direct the objectives, affect the management decisions and inspire the improvement projects.). 8)Having a management representative who has the authority and responsibility to provide implementation and consistency of the quality system
